What is a "Mini Session"?
Like it's name, it's a 'Mini' version of a full portrait session, with some distinguishing characteristics that set it apart from traditional sessions. Typically, Minis are short, 20-30 minute sessions, at a specific, pre-determined location, or utilize a single, styled studio set. There are limited bookings available and tend to fill up quite quickly. They are often themed, (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Father's Day, etc.), and are less expensive, offering fewer images. They are ideal for anyone looking to refresh outdated photos, commemorate a holiday, or try out a new photographer!
I offer Mini Sessions several times throughout the year, sometimes on a whim, sometimes with more notice :) Typically, they are priced at around $120-$150, and include 5-7 fully edited digital images with print release, an online proofing gallery, and an extra "treat", depending on the time or theme. Prints and additional digital files can be purchased as well.

Gift card holders, get in touch when you are ready to plan your session! New bookings, I am limiting sessions to minis to accommodate the number of clients hoping to have a summer or fall session this year. This will allow me to provide photos for more families as the season is just flying by....
This means short sessions with smaller galleries. Please contact me with questions regarding sessions and pricing . Please be patient and understand that flexibility will be necessary as I am at the mercy of the weather and physical distancing. The studio will remain closed for this season and I will revisit and re-evaluate for Christmas Mini Sessions and provide updates accordingly.

It's almost time to head out into the glorious, golden hour gardens to capture beautiful, sunny memories...safely.
Not just yet, friends, but soon! Since it has been determined that Windsor-Essex isn't quite ready to transition out of Phase 1 re-opening, we wait.
Photography has been named among the services to resume in Phase 2. But as they say, it will NOT be business as usual, around here anyway. While studio photography will be allowed in this next phase, my studio will remain closed. Not for good, but for the summer-at least. My studio is in my home and I know I will not be having clients here for the time being.
This means services and availability will be affected. I will not be offering Studio Newborn Sessions until further notice, and Home Lifestyle Newborn Sessions will see some changes as well. ( No wonderful, fresh baby snuggles for now... wahhhh!) Gratefully, especially at this time of year, I shoot mainly outdoors (where social distancing is fairly simple to respect), so I will be heading back out when it is deemed "safe". Expect, like everything else, your session will look a little different. (It will still be awesome, obviously)
I miss it, truly I do, but at no point will I work in any situation that could jeopardize anyone's personal health or safety.
