ABOUT ME
Thanks for checking out the site and considering me as your photographer. There are truly so many great talents in this field, and it's extremely important that you get a good sense of the style and professional philosophies of the artist you entrust with your precious family memories.
I am a wife, mother, teacher and photographer in Windsor, Ontario. My children are the centre of my Universe and inspire me to be better, do better, every day. I love art in all forms, but have a special affinity for portrait and lifestyle photography. If asked to categorize my professional style, I would say I strive for natural and honest, true to life portraits. I want you to see a true reflection of yourself, your family, your babies, as they are~ right now.
I shoot mainly outdoors, in natural light, but have a small, home studio where I typically hold newborn and children's sessions, as well as colder weather Mini Sessions.
In 2013 I decided to turn my love of photography into a small business. I have been shooting portraits for nearly 16 years, striving to hone my skills in both the technical and creative components of portrait and lifestyle work. I am largely self taught on the creative end, keeping up with current trends and custom editing styles that enhance the emotional quality of portrait art.
I think photos are the greatest gift you can give yourself. In a life that is inevitably jammed with long work weeks, appointments to keep, schedules to follow, and obligations to fulfill, time passes so quickly that the moments we swore to enjoy are lost in the shuffle and sadly, irretrievable. Babies don't stay babies. Time keeps passing. Stop and take a picture. Or, if you feel like my work is reflective of your personal style, let me do it for you. The walls of my own home are adorned with 'moments'. Funny faces, genuine hugs- Art at its very best.
